Captured between paper and glass,

these "pressed" creatures dwell.

They hold the name Prince, last,

of a matron so fair.

Intertwined with words so wise,

and formed with paint and ink,

these prints seem to come to life

when placed on walls so bare.

Monika L.: Thompsons Station, TN, United States; Monika is a licensed school teacher who loves to see young minds engaged in learning. She teaches preschool music classes, middle school creative writing, middle school science, high school technology, choir, and music ensemble. She also is the Head of Artistry Development at Lambo Studios. She was named "2011-2012 Teacher-of-the-Year" at South End Preschool. She has taught dance and movement classes for ten years and has performed for twenty-six years. She loves to act, sing, craft, and play music. She owns two small businesses: Modern Look Services (Real Estate Photography and Event Design) and Potato-Babies (Aromatherapy Dolls). Growing up in a musical family allowed performing arts to become her passion. Because of this early exposure to music and art, she feels greatly inspired to bring it in the lives of those around her. She loves to share her knowledge and experience through teaching. She has recently developed her own preschool music curriculum currently being taught in TN called Itsy Bitsy Beats.
